Newman: Meditation & Prayer

In June 2021, the Genesis Foundation presented Newman: Meditation & Prayer, a special concert inspired by the life and writings of Saint John Henry Newman, performed by Harry Christophers and The Sixteen and live-streamed on Classic FM’s Facebook page and website. The concert was held at Farm Street Church in London’s Mayfair (The Jesuit Church of the Immaculate Conception) and featured the world premieres of Sir James MacMillan’s Nothing in Vain and Will Todd’s I Shall Be an Angel of Peace, commissioned by the Genesis Foundation, as well as readings by Alexander Armstrong.
